Its official!  My outfitters license is here.  I am very excited about this upcoming season with our water being right around 100% of average it should be awesome.  Last year we had so much water that we could not start guiding to the middle of July, it looks that this season we should be on the water by early to mid June.  This time of year in Montana can be brutal with lingering snow and cold rain but I wouldn't know cause I am at the beach in Gulf Shores Al.  aka "the redneck riviera".  I love it!  I almost always leave this time of year to thaw out and visit my parents in Baton Rouge.  My son loves it and gets spoiled by his grand parents the way he should while me and my lovely lady Lorri sleep in and go to events like the New Orleans Jazz Fest.  But by the time the trip is winding down I look forward to getting back to our wonderful home in Big Sky.
   I would like to thank Craig Kalpenski for helping and inspiring me to get an Outfitters License.  Thanks Man!  I could not have done it without you.  My plan for this summer is to carry on in the CK tradition and put people on fish and have tons of fun.
  I would also like to thank East Slope Outdoors whom I will still be running many trips for.  Super Dave has been my endorsing outfitter for many years and his predecessor Brad Parsch was my original outfitter who signed me up 10 years ago.
